After traveling to around thirty destinations, he has a real crush on Algeria. This is demonstrated by the captivating images he shares on his social networks: breathtaking landscapes, historical monuments and authentic encounters marked his stay.

Travel: Algeria in the eyes of a modern explorer

Upon arriving in Algeria, Eli Snyder ventured into the Deep South with a group of friends. In the Algerian Sahara, Snyder said he was fascinated by this desert beauty, impressed by the majestic Tassili n’Ajjer mountain range.

« It is one of the most remote corners of the world. My friends and I went to discover the Algerian Sahara, in particular the Tassili n’Ajjer national park… One of the most spectacular places I have ever seen “, he confides on Instagram, and adds: “ Algeria absolutely took my breath away for several reasons, but above all for its breathtaking landscapes… »

Immersed in the landscapes of the national park, declared a world heritage site by UNESCO, the globetrotter felt out of time: “ We felt like we had the whole desert to ourselves ».

Far from stopping there, the adventure continues in the north of the country, where after three days in the desert, Eli and his friends went to discover the local culture.

“We fell in love with the country”

In the heart of the capital, they were fascinated by the Casbah, its narrow streets and its typical houses. The American explorer and his friends also discovered Algerian gastronomy and hospitality, as well as the atmosphere of the cafes and markets.

« I had the pleasure of traveling to Africa’s largest country with two of my high school friends. We fell in love with this country and I am happy to share with you these memories of a place so close to Europe and yet so far away », he writes in one of his numerous publications on Algeria.

Obviously after this trip to different regions, why yes, the explorer also went to Béjaïa, to seaside and mountainous destination of Kabylia.

From the top of Cape Carbon, one of the highest natural lighthouses in the world, Eli Snyder and his group of friends were dazzled by the spectacular view of the sea.
