Autumn is coming and with it Europa Park he’s wearing his scariest clothes. From September 28 to November 3, 2024, the amusement park transforms into a true kingdom of horror, to the delight of thrill-seekers.
As soon as they arrive, visitors are immersed in a carefully orchestrated macabre atmosphere. The park’s paths are adorned with 180,000 pumpkins, 100,000 autumn flowers and 15,000 chrysanthemums. Thousands of straw bales, corn plants and a multitude of special effects complete this setting worthy of the greatest horror films.
The park’s iconic attractions fit the Halloween atmosphere. In the Dutch Quarter, traditional coffee cups become “Griezelkopjes”, immersed in an eerie fog. The Quartieri Spagnoli carousel transforms into “Feria Swing – Flight of the Vampires”, promising excitement for the little ones.
Chilling new features
This year Europa-Park offers surprising new attractions. The “Voltron Nevera” roller coaster offers a thrilling experience with its seven inversions and its dizzying 105-degree climb. Lovers of Alpine adventures will be able to immerse themselves in the “Enchanted Valley of Diamonds”, a mountain scenery populated by legendary creatures.
The shows are no different. The musical “Spook Me” returns, while the “Vampire Circus” presents an ice skating show in the Greek neighborhood. The traditional Halloween parade parades along the avenues of the park with its macabre allegorical floats and scary creatures.
For the more daring, the “Traumatica” night event offers total immersion in a post-apocalyptic world populated by infernal creatures. Reserved for those aged 16 and over, this terrifying route promises memorable scares.
Even gastronomy fits in with Halloween. Visitors will be able to taste themed dishes such as the “Scary Burger” or pumpkin soup, without forgetting the autumn specialties served at the Erdinger chalet.
Shows at Europa Park
The range of shows Europa Park for Halloween 2024 it is significantly enriched. The musical “SPOOK ME!” 2” makes its grand return to the Theater of Europa-Park, promising a gripping sequel to the haunted castle adventures with new twists and impressive settings. The daily “Ed’s Halloween Parade” brings the park’s paths to life with its ghostly creatures, while “Celtic Shadows” offers a chilling figure skating spectacle in the Greek Quarter. The Spanish Quarters welcome the “Grave Robbers”, and from the 29th October “Hellfire Fountains” ignites the lake around the new attraction “Josefina and her magical journey” in a show of fountains, lasers and fire. For adults seeking thrills, the “Traumatic” nighttime experience immerses visitors in a post-apocalyptic universe with seven haunted houses and more than 150 terrifying actors.
